Three Summer Linkers (as they are called) worked with The Church at Blue Ridge, The Church at Cherrydale and The Church at Greer Station for 10 weeks this summer. At the end of the summer all the Summer Link teams met in Boston to debrief, worship with, assist, and encourage a local church plant there called Redemption Hill.
We know that there are a lot of people living in this area [Blue Ridge], and we also know that there are communities that already exist here. But finding a way into these groups of people can be very challenging and take a lot of patience and perseverance.
The past month for The Church at Blue Ridge has been filled with blessings and challenges, and I am amazed every time I sit down to write our newsletter just how faithful God has been. He is indeed the one planting The Church at Blue Ridge no matter how often we are tempted to believe otherwise.
In Blue Ridge, we are witnessing our own spring time as God thaws the ground before us revealing more fertile soil for the gospel every day.
